Name Tags

I started going back to the Cliche theme, looking at the sentences and finding them easy to digest, as these are used so much in our lives, when we talk to people, TV, social media, films, books and its amazing how much we use these words to explain something and how much we get what the person is saying and means.

I started thinking that I would use these sentences in embroidery, the "No Place Like Home' which is so famously cross stitched and how these little saying are part of our everyday life.

While looking through my sewing box I came across some very old name tags, these belong to my Grannie and wear stitched to my uncle's school clothes.

I like that the name tags mark and identify a person's belongings and thought about maybe creating a piece of clothing from these cliches, or use them as name tags on items of clothes....
