Self portrait in Bible mask

It was nice to get back into painting and I think this came out well.

I feel this piece is a step on from 'silent showing' art I created and even though I have tried to combine my past with a mask it still doesn't feel that I being true to myself and stretching my talents and ideas.

I wouldn't say I am as crazy as I used to be, I feel sometimes that I prefer a much quieter life then about 10 years ago. I know I still have some issues with the way I was brought up and feel that I have addressed them to a an extent that I need to think something else. 

Having being brought in this controlling lifestyle I now have to be grateful that I left and no longer in a perpetual feeling of being blessed and watched at the same time. I can travel and basically do and say what I want.

So i decided to end this chapter ( for now..) with me and my family outside a JW's Kingdom Hall.

well I gave it a go.. looks like Im wearing a Jason mask..
